We lose weeks like buttons, like pencils.

My name is Emily. I'm a vegan and aspiring ESL teacher living in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is where I share things that, well, I'd like to share.

I have this on my messenger bag!

This is going on my jacket

Methinks I shall get it for my messenger bag/jacket.  There are a couple that I like :3.

I just had a conversation about the value of tradition and the use of the term as an excuse for meat consumption. As if tradition was sacred or somehow a better argument for torture and murder than simple preference. The meat industry is every bit as sick as any human genocide you can think of, and every bit as repulsive as human slavery and rape. I am convinced that anyone that ever bothers to argue against veganism is merely fighting to defend a guilty conscience, and those that passively continue to support the meat and animal industry are desperately trying to maintain their ignorance and perceived innocence.  We may be the most intelligent species, but what we have done and continue to do to each other, other living creatures, and the earth only proves that we are the worst thing to ever happen to this planet.
